(Provides new headline, lede, adds second paragraph)
MOSCOW, Aug 1 (PRIME) -- Electric power supplies in Russia’s Far East and exports to China have been fully restored after an accident at power transmission lines, the Energy Ministry said on Tuesday.
“As of 5:30 p.m. (Moscow time) power supplies to consumers have been fully restored,” the ministry said.
The ministry said earlier that five 500-kilovolt power transmission lines shut down in the Khabarovsk Region, including the Amurskaya–Heihe export line. As a result, the power capacity of disconnected consumers totaled 1,250 megawatts and power exports to China were suspended.
